Junior Software Tester nr. Reading to £22k

Junior Software Tester / QA Automation Engineer (C# SQL) *Remote Interview WfH*. Would you like to progress your career working on complex and interesting systems that provide daily challenges; learning and collaborating with a friendly and upbeat team whilst enjoying a good work / life balance?

As a Junior Software Tester at this global software house you will help ensure the quality of client and public facing websites for the core product, a virtual ticketing and queuing platform / solution for major leisure attractions across the globe to enhance customer experience.

You'll gain exposure to a range of testing techniques from manual testing but with a focus on automation with C# and Selenium; you'll need basic coding skills but will receive training and mentoring to enable you to reach your full potential as a QA Test Engineer.

The company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as full-time work from home during the social distancing measures, going forward you'll be based three days a week in modern open plan offices close to Reading, a 10 minute walk from a mainline station, with the rest of the week working from home if desired. There's a friendly team atmosphere with regular pizza and board games evenings and core hours of 1000 to 1600.

Requirements:

Degree educated in a STEM subject, Computer Science or Mathematics preferred

You don't have to have prior commercial testing experience - but will need the desire to progress your career in testing and the aptitude to learn

Basic coding skills with C# and ability to write basic SQL queries (there is a technical test as part of the interview process)

You're collaborative with good communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for technology
