Full Stack Developer Equity and Governance Business Delivery team - London

Norges Bank Investment Management is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for the position of Application Developer as part of Systems and Data within our Equity and Governance Business Delivery team. Systems and Data is part of Norges Bank Investment Management Technology and has responsibility for our existing technology platform as well as development of new systems and technology to support the business in their investment decisions and analysis.
The position is based in our London Offices and will report to the Head our Equity and Governance Business Delivery team located in London. Some travel will be required.
The Role
Are you an ambitious and focused professional developer, who wants to work within an international business delivery team servicing the Equity Strategies and Corporate Governance areas? We have recently restructured our Systems and Data group in order to get operations closer to the business and service their needs with a deeper understanding of the business requirements.
As the successful candidate in this role, you will be working in a development team that will work closely with the business to help build out Norges Bank Investment Management's in-house application offering to better support investment decisions and analysis. We are looking for curious and committed developers to help develop and maintain proprietary applications, as well as maintenance of existing 3rd party solutions using .NET/Python and JavaScript (Angular).
We are looking for creative developers that can help us build innovative solutions which support the drive for excess returns and ensure that Norges Bank Investment Management is at the forefront of investment technology. The immediate focus for the business delivery team is to further strengthen the interaction with business stakeholders and the role will involve direct communication with end users working in an agile team with an 18 month rolling roadmap.
As part of this position you will be working on some of the following tasks:
Working in collaboration with the business users in the Equity Strategy and Corporate Governance business areas to ensure solutions meet business requirements
Working in an agile way, using scrum based methods in planning and progression together with the rest of the business delivery team
Interpreting business requirements, turning them into specifications and creative designs and solutions
Actively working as part of the team to find new and improved processes, techniques and tools to enhance the business IT experience
Experience
The following experience is required:
Sc. in Computer Science or other equivalent technical discipline, with strong academic records
Highly skilled in two or more of these languages/frameworks .NET (C#), Python, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js or SQL
Strong SQL skills
Experience with SoA based development
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps and Cloud computing
Experience in creating responsive, asynchronous web apps
The following experience is desired:
Experience with D3 and Angular 2.0+
3-5 years' relevant experience
Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
Experience with AWS Serverless Computing
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Experience from the Asset Management industry
