PHP Web DeveloperWe have an exciting opportunity for a senior PHP web developer with full-stack experience to join our clients small, friendly and dynamic team. Working within a small team but for a global organisation you will need a strong work ethic and be able to work independently but above all, you will need to be committed and passionate about providing top-class products for their users.Role responsibilities:

'€¢Designing and developing new features

'€¢Investigating and resolving defects'€¢   Improving and maintaining our codebase enabling continuous evolution and innovation through discovery of pain points, research into solutions, implementation of proof of concepts and ensuring the adoption of these by the rest of the team'€¢Identifying and implementing improvements for reliability, scalability and performance'€¢Helping to assure the quality of other team members' code'€¢Working collaboratively to tackle complex problems and make decisions

'€¢Write and build valuable documentation and acting as an exemplar of best practice'€¢Estimating and planning development tasks working alongside the product and delivery team as well as external development team

Necessary skills:

'€¢Experience of using Git (CLI)'€¢Experience using PHP7 and either Laravel or Symfony'€¢Solid understanding of REST APIs and relational databases'€¢JavaScript framework - strong preference for React.JS and Redux'€¢AWS experience '€¢Knowledge of Webpack & SCSS'€¢Good understanding of current and emerging trends of the web platform'€¢Experience in coaching other developers'€¢       Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching others'€¢       Ability to learn and contribute very quickly'€¢       Comfortable working under pressure'€¢       Able to work extended hours on occasions when required

Desirable skills:

'€¢Docker experience'€¢Experience with modern JavaScript testing, debugging and automation techniques'€¢.NET experience
