This opportunity is to work with a specialised consultancy focused on the design, delivery, and implementation of digital transformation programmes. Over the past 5 years my client has managed over £1bn worth of cloud projects working with clients within FinTech, Energy, Commercial and public sector. Currently they are looking to bolster their team with a Senior and Lead DevOps Engineer, these roles are hands on and will focus on digital transformations to public cloud.Of course as a consultant no two days will be the same. However there are a few responsibilities that will remain consistent - Working on: CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity), Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), Containerisation and Orchestration (Docker,K8s) , Automation, Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and IAC (Terraform).My client is technology agnostic and looking for talented engineers who are looking to upskill across multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP. With that in mind, they would be interested in engineers with the following experience:Public CloudCI/CD PipelinesConfiguration ManagementIAC - TerraformLinuxYour primary responsibility will be the delivery of E2E projects with clients, however my client can offer considerable upskilling. Around 30% of your time will be allocated to technical research and upskilling.
