As an Application Support Engineer you'll join a close-knit team dedicated client support sector of the business, where you'll have the opportunity to get involved in a diverse range of projects, including providing internal support, monitoring systems, updating code as necessary and maintaining networks.
You'll also take ownership of 2nd and 3rd line support duties including tickets concerning connectivity as well as supporting newly on-boarded clients and new products with multiple integrations.
*Please note: this company is able to conduct a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures. You'll join London-based offices in due course.*
Requirements:
You have experience as an Application Support Analyst or in a similar role, e.g. Technical Support Engineer (experience with ticketing and monitoring systems)
You have Java programming experience (this can be basic, additional languages highly advantageous, you will be taught Perl upon joining)
You have Linux experience
You're familiar with MySQL / SQL commands
You have good understanding of Networking technologies
You are naturally analytical and a keen problem solver
You're a confident self-starter who is happy to work independently
