You will take these designs through the full NPI cycle into manufacturing. In this senior position. *Working closely with the manufacturing team to create high speed digital board designs

*Creating hardware architectures from high level product specifications

*Designing boards with Microprocessor, FPGAs, and latest memory technologies

*Taking products and projects through from R&D to Manufacturing

*Guiding less experienced engineers on the hardware team

*Initially role can be worked remotely with COVID restrictions but opportunity for longer term relocation local to the area

*Commutable from Glasgow or EdinburghThe Person:

*Qualified in Electronic Engineering

*Well-experienced in a similar role Hardware Design role

*High Speed/Complex Schematic Design Experience (OrCAD)

*Previous experience in leading hardware development of complex products

*Knowledge of FPGAs, their high speed serial transceivers and battery management would be beneficial

*Sponsorship for Tier 2 candidates available
