C++ Developer London to £80k

C++ Developer / Software Engineer (C++ Linux SQL Oracle). Do you enjoy problem solving? You could be working on complex and interesting systems that provide daily challenges; collaborating with a friendly and upbeat team and making a significant impact whilst progressing your career at a global FinTech.

As a senior C++ Developer you will work on strategic enhancements to the core platform with a focus on middle and back office systems as well as on bespoke client projects. You'll be working in a technology driven environment, operating across the full development lifecycle with a great deal of autonomy but collaborating within a friendly and supportive Agile team to figure out ideas.

Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home; the expectation is for a gradual return to the office (most likely in the new year) with 1-2 days a week WfH going forward; when you are in the City based offices you can enjoy a friendly team environment and relaxed dress code.

Requirements:

Strong C++ development experience on Linux / UNIX

Experience within a financial services / trading type environment

STL experience

Good SQL skills (Oracle preferred)

Genuine enthusiasm and passion for technology and engineering complex solutions

Collaborative with excellent communication skills

Desirable: C# GUI experience
