A new opportunity for a Senior CAD Support Engineer has arisen with a global technology company, based in Leuven, Belgium specialising on wireless technologies for cellular applications. In this position you will be tasked with supporting and developing EDA tools for Analog and RF IC Design engineers. You will be hands-on with all phases of design support including PDK/tool flow installation, database archive and validation, tapeout and support. In this role you will be contributing to the development of design standards, IC development processes, CAD tools and design flows as well working with IT. You will have the opportunity to work include collaboration with other teams in HQ. The successful CAD Support engineer will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience from within a similar role and with expertise in Analog and/or Digital circuit design flows and tools. You will have strong problem solving capabilities and be fluent with Analog EDA front and back end tools. Experience is required in some or all of the following: Cadence Virtuoso, ADE, Innovus, Genus, SKILL programming, Mentor Calibre, UNIX/Linux and scripting language (Perl/TCL/csh/etc), Ocean scripting. You will have the opportunity to work within a multinational environment and the successful applicant will be able to work well within a team with excellent communication skills in English as well as possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
