Product Designer (UI) | 100% Remote (UK Based Candidates) | SaaS Tech Start-UpI am exclusively engaged with an award-winning and innovative Tech Start-Up, headquartered in the US but with a fully remote workforce spread across the US, UK and Canada. They are fully supportive of diversity and inclusion within the workplace and have created a fantastic company culture, focusing on enabling creative people to be creative rather than expecting them to fall into a pre-assigned niche. Moreover, they have been established in the SaaS/Cloud space for a number of years and have created a state-of-the-art SaaS platform that is used by 1,500 organisations across 40 different countries... not bad eh?Role OverviewYour role will see take directly responsibility for delivering UI specifications, storyboards and wireframes across a range of product lines. You will be expected to turn challenging product problems into simple solutions and will collaborate with a range of key business areas including Engineering, Marketing and Sales. You will work with a diverse set of tools and technologies (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Axure, InDesign, Adobe CC, HTML, CSS) and will be given the freedom to create and innovate.Travel & Working PatternsThis role is 100% remote (forever, not just during COVID) and despite this organisation being based in the US, there isn't any crazy expectation for you to spend 2/3 day's per week/month over there! It is remote. Genuinely. Role RequirementsIn terms of their expectations from you, rather than copying and pasting the JD, I have decided to pick out the key requirements below:Product Background- You must have proven experience working in a Product Design capacity (ideally B2B) and should have an understanding of the product development lifecycle.Design Tools - Experience using tools including Figma, Sketch, InDesign, Axure, Adobe CC etc.Web Technologies - Whilst you won't be a Front End Engineer, experience working with common web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap) would be beneficial.Personality - Hard-working, genuinely into technology and happy working remotely!
