As a Product Applications / Support engineer you will join the company and undergo full product training with a view to develop you into the 'go to' product expert focused on providing technical solutions and support to customers on a complex product range. This is a varied role combining a passion for software and hardware mixed with customer interaction. A degree of travel will be expected.

The role;

* Become the 'go to' product expert for their customers (Hardware / software product)

* Developing custom automation scripts for customers using Python

* Working with product design team to investigate issues and influence changes

* Build relationships with the sales team to provide tech support

* Some Travel will be involved - Trade fairs, plug-fests, customer visits to promote products.

* Product Training available

The person;

* Educated to degree level in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

* Programming or scripting experience

* Looking for a technical role involving customers interaction.

* Passionate about cutting edge technology
