Senior Analyst - Data Science, Strategy & Consultancy Team

TwentyCi Group is looking to further accelerate growth by adding a new Senior Analyst to our Data Science, Strategy & Consultancy Team.

Working closely with our client facing teams across the business, your role will be to use our vast data resources to provide and enhance our product portfolio. You will also provide insights ensuring that sales personnel have all that they need to sell our products and services. You will be working in a team of five individuals, who collectively are the driving force behind the Group's sales growth working on bespoke service delivery through to standardised SaaS and DaaS products. Using data engineering, data science and commercial acumen, you will facilitate this business growth further at the same time as growing and learning in your career.

We are a team of around 100 but our business units are very much of a start-up mentality. We want people who can get things done - if you want a to-do list given to you every day this isn't for you. If you are a self-starter who enjoys learning coupled with the challenge of delivering to a varied client portfolio that belies the size of the organisation, then it is you we are after. You'll be reporting directly to our Strategic Solutions Director and so you will very much find yourself central to the action.

At the moment, this role is home-based due to Covid-19. You will, however, be required to work from our office in Milton Keynes at least a couple of days a week in the not too distant future.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ensuring that our service offerings, SaaS and DaaS products are fit for purpose and use Data Science appropriately will be a key part of the role. Assisting the team to deliver consultancy projects across a wide variety of sectors (such as property, retail, utilities, telcos and financial services) may also be part of the role. As will providing pre and post sales consultancy support for the business - effectively acting as a "gatekeeper" to our vast data assets.

You will require a broad range of skills, knowledge and experience as follows, which in order of importance are as follows:

Possess a strong understanding of mathematical, data science and analytical principles - in particular, how these are applied in practice

Have experience of either R or Python

Ability to write SQL to a moderate to high level

Be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Possess a technical understanding of business intelligence solutions and or "train of thought" analysis tools

Have a working knowledge of UK property data

Significant pre and post-sales experience of data analysis projects with demonstrable success

Excellent presentation and communication skills

An ability to maintain, develop and when required lead relationships with all team members at all levels

You will have an ability to communicate effectively at all levels with internal and external key stakeholders.

You will possess an excellent liaison ability (verbally and written) to translate complex data into meaningful information and have the ability to think creatively, laterally.

In terms of qualifications, you will be educated to degree standard in a numerate discipline. Ideally, you will also have a post graduate numerate or business discipline.
