Graduate ChemistDufftown, ScotlandCompetitive Salary + Holidays + Pension + Private Health Insurance + ProgressionAre you an experienced Chemist and looking to get involved with an exciting company that specialises in producing renewable energy from a niche and advanced process?In this role you will be involved in the commissioning and operation of process development projects relating to the production of Biogas from Anaerobic Digestion. You will also be able to take on the responsibility for the optimisation of existing processes and trialling new technologies to help keep the company at the forefront of the industry.The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree or higher relating to chemistry and will have an interest in the Energy sector.This is a great role for someone who loves a technically complex and varied job where they will carry a large amount of responsibility and autonomy within their field.The role:

* Commissioning and operation of process development projects relating to the production of Biogas

* Assessing and trialling new technologies and processes

* Implementation of process improvement trials

* Collecting data and presenting information/training to non-scientific colleagues in an understandable way

* Providing technical support and helping to resolve plant process issues

The person:

* Minimum 2:1 degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or similar

* Keen to apply their skills to the Energy sector

* Living in the Dufftown/Moray area

* Good communication skills for presenting data clearly

* Strong IT skills (Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning systems e.g GDMS)

* Full UK driving license
