Contract Solutions Architect

Location: Home based with occasional site visits
Reports to: Jason Frary
Hours of work: 09:00 - 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch
Salary Range: £450-£550 per day depending on expertise and experience

Summary of Position:

Contract Solutions Architect, completing a Low-Level Design with a corresponding Implementation Plan and Test Plan from an existing High-Level Design. Either authoring the document themselves or liaising with a Technical Author to provide the required details to produce all needed documentation.

Primary Responsabilities:

• Organise and host Low Level Design, Implementation Plan and Test Plan workshops.
• Discuss and engage BAU Infrastructure engineers on solution design remit and needs.
• Where needed liaise directly with the Technical Author on producing documentation.

Qualifications & Training:

Desirable:

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Linux Professional Institute (LPIC-1)
• MCSA: Windows Server 2016

Expereince:

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years hands on experience with installation, configuration and management of corporate Windows infrastructure.
• Minimum 5 years Solution Architecture Background.

Desirable:

• Experience of working within a Financial/Regulatory sector.

• Technical authoring.
