Feedstock Manager (Anaerobic Digestion)Leeds£35,000 + Van + Fuel + Pension + Holidays

Are you a confident 'people person' with experience in feedstock management and want to be part of an exciting new project for the supply of Biogas to the north of England?

Based near Leeds this company has secured a 20-year income for gas production and is looking for an experienced Feedstock Manager to play a vital part in the company's growth.

In this role the Feedstock Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, the acquisition of feedstock & digestate from suppliers, feedstock monitoring and preparing relevant reports such as weekly delivery forecasts and expenditure.

The ideal candidate will have several years' experience working in a similar capacity as a Feedstock Manager and will excel in building close relationships with suppliers. They will also have experience working on a site with Anaerobic Digester units and will be familiar with the technology.

The role:

* Identifying, building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers of feedstock and digestate

* Tracking expenditure and consumption of feedstock

* Obtaining feedstock samples from suppliers or third parties to test suitability

* Ensuring that enough feedstock is on site or planned for delivery to meet requirements

* Monthly reports on things such as risks, opportunities, deliveries and consumption

The Person:

* Knowledge of the Anaerobic Digestion process and the food waste sector

* Several years' relevant experience working in a similar role

* 'People person' and experience of negotiating fees with suppliers

* Experience of securing and managing contracts and supplier approval forms

* Computer literate
