An exciting opportunity for a Junior Design Engineer to join an up-and-coming security solutions manufacturer, who have seen an uplift in their market and have experienced increased growth, offering technical development, the chance to work on exciting and high value projects and the chance for future career progression.

Are you proficient in AutoCAD? Do you have some experience designing for metal fabrications?

This company is a specialist within their industry and design and manufacture top of the range products for a competitive price. They are looking to grow to a multiple million-pound business in the next 5 years and are therefore are looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their dedicated team.

In this role you will be working closely with the CEO to bring design concepts to manufacture and production. You will be tasked with developing and producing drawings ready for production, working closely with the fabrication team to create high quality products.

The ideal candidate will be a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer with some experience of designing for metal fabrications, who is proficient in AutoCAD, looking to take the next step in their technical development.

The role:Designing for large scale metal fabricationsWorking closely with the CEOHands on design position

The person:Some hands on fabrication experienceHNC or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineeringProficient in AutoCAD Some experience drawing for metal fabrications
