A fintech company in Manchester are looking to recruit a Back-End PHP Developer to work as part of a small development team on the ongoing development and improvements of the website. Responsibilities will include planning new developments, developing new features, improving existing features and building reusable code for future use. The role will be working with some legacy code base so the successful candidate will need to be happy to get stuck in and remain focused whilst under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.Key skills will include:Knowledgeable with OOP principles and design patterns.Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3PHP MVC frameworks such as Symfony / Laravel / CodeigniterExperienced working with and building REST APIs.Experience reviewing and approving colleagues' code before deploying.Able to train other team members and encourage adherence to best practices
