Software EngineerBirmingham £37,500 - (Initial 3 Month FTC) We have an opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join one our major clients within the Education Sector.The role will responsible for the frontend and some backend development of a Web Application that can be run on desktop and mobile platforms. Desirable Experience:Good degree or higher-level qualification in computer science, engineering or related subject.Competency in Object Oriented programming in Java, JavaScript, C#, and/or Python is essential as well as experience in developing web services and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).Particular emphasis on database connectivity, data extraction, transformation, interoperability and integration.Hands on experience with widely used Big Data systems such as Hadoop, Spark, and Flink; and machine learning tools such as RStudio, and Python libraries.Good knowledge in modelling and multi-objective optimisation techniques.This role is for an initial 3 month FTC with the possibility for extension.
