IT Project Manager Birmingham £39,000 - (Initial 3 Month FTC) We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join one our major clients within the Education Sector.The role will ensure the successful delivery of a technical software build within an agile team that has recently been awarded funding. They are ideally looking for the successful Project Manager to start in January.Responsibilities:Ensure the effective and efficient management of the development, delivery and review against contracts, terms of reference and funder requirements ensuring delivery to project timeframe.Define scope, methodology, resource skills and budgetary requirements ensuring clear project objectives and outputs are achieved.Effectively manage all external stakeholder relationships relating to the project.Be accountable for project budgetary performance targets and implement financial and quality controls to ensure that delivery is value for money and compliant with any funding requirements.Plan, coordinate and manage work inputs and outputs of all project-relevant staff members Desirable Experience:Project management qualification such as PRINCE 2, or qualification recognised by the Associate for Project Management (APM)Extensive professional skills, experience and expertise in skills with advanced PC skills across the Microsoft Office suite.Significant project management experienceSignificant experience of senior stakeholder engagement, with clear negotiation and influence skills, coupled with tact and diplomacy.Experience of assessment, monitoring and managing programme risks and benefits.Demonstrable experience of budget management and resource managementExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.
