DevOps Engineer (CI/CD PowerShell Azure) Multi award-winning FinTech is seeking an ambitious DevOps Engineer to join their small, highly collaborative team and help to proactively support and optimise the infrastructure of the organisation's cutting edge core platform.
The organisation is dedicated to improving financial investment by opening the asset class of loans to everyone, giving ordinary investors choices that were previously only available to professional investors.
This is an exciting time to join, as they have recently joined forces with an industry-leading retail bank who are embarking on an ambitious growth initiative with a key focus on scalability.
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll bridge gaps between Infrastructure and software engineer teams, helping them to build and release their software in an efficient way via CI/CD pipelines. You'll play a key role in driving the adoption of an "automation mindset", enabling scalability whilst mitigating risk.
You'll work with key stakeholders throughout the project development lifecycle to incorporate DevOps into the technology roadmap and to ensure all infrastructure support solutions support software development and align with business objectives.
*Please note: the company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures. They are currently working from home, and expect a gradual return to office by Spring 2021, with some continued flexible work opportunities going forwards*
Requirements:
You have experience as a DevOps Engineer within a .Net development environment
You have cloud experience with AWS or Azure
You have PowerShell scripting skills for automation of tasks, reporting and deployment; Terraform would be a real bonus as you'll be using that going forward
You have good knowledge of Continuous Integration, Automated Deployment or configuration management (such as TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, etc.)
You're familiar with Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 and IIS
You're a proactive, collaborative team player, keen to share knowledge, automate and improve processes wherever possible
As a DevOps Engineer you'll earn a highly competitive salary (to £80k) plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
