UX / UI Designer - Digital

Wakefield / Remote

£35000 - £45000 per annum

An established technology business based in the Wakefield area are looking for a UX / UI Designer with good Adobe and HMTL/Bootstrap knowledge to join their new Digital team. The organisation is offering the UX / UI Designer £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and level plus remote working and a benefits package including 26 days holiday plus banks.

As the UX / UI Designer, you will be working alongside the team web developers and the sales team to work on client specifications and being the person responsible for all design work. Although its not a requirement to be able to code with HMTL/CSS, it would be necessary to have an understanding of their capability when speaking with clients / the sales team.

This is the first UX / UI role in the business therefore you will be heavily involved in setting the design standards for the business and their clients. Their clients consist of multi-billion pound banks, Financial services companies, local government and many more. 2020 has been a year of huge growth for this business so it is a great time to get on board as they accelerate growth and kick start an agile transformation within the business.

Key skills

* 2 years experience in a UX / UI Designer role .

* Web and Mobile design skills, with experience working with the following frameworks - eg. HTML5 / Bootstraps / Highcharts /Font Awesome

* Relevant UX Skills, with experience in proposing web & mobile page navigations, an understanding of how to simplify user experiences and also optimise end user satisfaction.

* Experience of using adobe XD or invision
