Health, Safety, Environmental Manager - Doha Qatar - Metro Project
Our Client is looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to work on the Doha Metro construction project.
Expertise in the development and implementation of management systems for HSSE, in line with BS OHSAS 1800:2007 and ISO 14001:2004.
Capable of delivering innovative HSSE management interventions to promote a culture of continuous improvement, in accordance with a Zero Harm philosophy.
Experienced in the delivery of HSSE training to raise awareness of relevant requirements and undertaking incident investigation through root cause analysis.
As HSSE Manager, he will be responsible for validation and implementation of HSSE plans, ensuring that adequate processes and procedures are in place to manage risks.
Will also undertake inspections and audits and assess HSSE performance to identify areas for improvement.
Responsible for emergency preparedness and procedures, including working with relevant entities in developing and implementing Emergency Preparedness Plans (EPP's), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP's) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
The following is a summary of skills that you must have:
- At least 20 years of Overall experience; 10 years of which are for Rail Systems
- At least 5 years of similar experience
- Metro experience
- Consultant experience
- At least a BSc, BEng, BA, or Equivalent degree holder
Preferred qualifications:
- Chartered Engineer/ professional license
- Work Experience within the Middle East
Salary Package: QAR 40K to QAR 46K per month + Benefits (Medical Insurance, 1 annual return ticket to home country, visa costs single/family status)
Initially this is position will be for 3 months but it is likely to be extended for up to 3 years.
