This employer are a software company specialising in the energy sector. Their disruptive technology and services offer a fully innovative platform for energy suppliers to succeed.

Their clients are energy suppliers. They supply electricity and gas to businesses and homes. Probably including your own home! It can be a complicated sector and so their clients often engage them to help. They are experts in Energy and their in-house operations team, which is where this role sits, act as an outsourced back office function.

As a Billing Analyst, you'll carry out the day to day activities necessary to maintain a high level of billing performance across a portfolio of clients.

Your job will be to ensure their clients' customer bills are prepared each month as smoothly as possible using their very own CRM platform. You'll work as a part of a team of analysts to meet agreed Service Level Agreements with each client, identifying and removing blockages like updating meter consumption data, ensuring price lines are accurate, or fixing one off exceptions that cause a bill to fail unexpectedly to get things moving again.

Problem Solver - Understanding what causes bill failures and proactively fixing them alongside their development teams is critical to support their success.

Flexible - Every day is different. You will need to be prepared for constant change to deliver clients needs quickly.

Technical - You must be comfortable with making sense of large sets of information in Excel and /or billing platforms as a minimum. SQL knowledge is a bonus.

Market Experience - A background in energy, pricing or B2C/B2B Billing is ideal. If you are a little short in this area but have strong technical SQL abilities, this could still be the role for you.

Their office is located in Nottingham City Centre just 5 minutes from the Station.
