QA Test Engineer London to £65k

QA Test Engineer / Software Tester (Cypress JavaScript) *Remote Interview WfH*. You could be joining a global games software house as part of a collaborative Agile team.

As a QA Test Engineer you will help ensure the quality of a range of desktop and mobile gaming applications with a particular focus on the "live chat" functionality that enables tens of thousands of players to interact every day as well as a dynamic CRM that allows hosts to engage with their player base. The tech stack is based on JavaScript, React and Redux on the client side with Java on the backend.

You'll identify what to test and how to test it; drive the automation of existing manual test suites and champion quality throughout the team, coaching developers to ensure they produce code with testing in mind. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders and partner with the Delivery Team to convert requirements into manageable user stories and help deliver them. You'll be continually learning and developing your skillset.

Requirements:

Strong QA testing experience of building and maintaining test frameworks for both multi-device and desktop browsers

Ability to code with JavaScript coupled with experience of using Cypress (or Jest)

Experience working in a BDD environment

Good working knowledge of CI/CD

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
