Job Title: Landscape Garden Designer & Project ManagerLocation: Southampton, HampshireSalary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annumJob type: Full time, Permanent (40 hours a week, Monday - Friday)With 50 years of experience and thousands of delighted customers, the company is highly regarded for its professional service and quality workmanship in garden design, construction and maintenance. Based in Curdridge, Southampton the company's services cover the whole of Hampshire and into the surrounding counties.The Role:There is a vacancy for a Garden Designer, to work within an experienced Designer Team, providing potential clients with reliable and workable solutions for their garden projects.Key Responsibilities:Estimating, Design & Sales - To convert enquiry leads into live projects by:Understanding the clients requirementsProviding clients with solutions for their gardens and presenting these ideas through detailed drawings or computer aided designProviding the clients with competitive quotes, whilst maintaining profit marginSelling their products and servicesAchieving sales budgets and profitsProject ManagementManaging staff on site, overseeing workmanshipProviding clear instructionsManaging health & safety and risk assessmentsFollowing company proceduresLiaising with Clients, Suppliers and colleaguesThe Candidate:Experience of working as a Designer and/or have a design qualificationComputer literate and have experience using CAD, KeySCAPE or sketchup (Essential)Horticulture knowledge and/or a qualificationGood interpersonal skillsSales and Customer focusedTime management skillsProject Management experienceMeet deadlinesPositive and friendly "can do attitude"FlexibleProblem solvingBenefits:52 weeks work a year20 Days holiday a year plus 8 Bank holidaysMost Tools & Machinery providedPersonal development planTraining & development opportunitiesPlease click on the APPLY button to submit your CV and Cover Letter.Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles of; Garden Design, Project Manager, Garden Project Management, Landscaping Solutions Designer, Landscape Garden, Garden Sales Designer, Garden Designer, Graduate, Landscape Gardener, Gardener may also be considered for this role.
