Software Architect Engineer A company with a global reach and looking to move into the Irish and UK market, my client is looking for talented and experienced individuals with good experience in software development to help them set up their new UK IT infrastructure.With plenty of work involved there is real room for career growth as well as long term job stability. It will be your job to oversee and assist in establishing the technical direction of the company, setting out a formal architecture and technology roadmap. Using your vast technological experience you will identify potential challenges in the architectural process and be able to effectively document your vision.This role is all about leadership and moving people where you want them to go - you will remain hands on and be sure to review code and software when needed - but this role will entail plenty of project management with a real focus on the bigger picture.With a generous base salary, fully remote working options and as well as private medical insurance and profit share scheme, my client is keen to ensure that whoever takes on this level of responsibility is adequately rewarded.Please note: this role is based in Northern Ireland (though fully remote) and so is considered UK based. The role: Help to establish the technical direction of the company with a pragmatic and considered approach.Identify and try to pre-empt any architectural challenges.Prepare and document your vision for software architecture and relay this clearly to more junior members.Participate in coding activities that lead to design outcomes. The person: 8 years' experience in application and software development.8 years' coding experience using C# and/ or Java and JavaScript.Demonstrable quality experience in HTML, CSS or XML.Leadership experience where you lead teams on end to end projects.
