Title: Expense Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 + Benefits
An international Insurer based in central Birmingham has an exciting opportunity to join the business as an Expense Manager. Taking ownership of the expense actual process, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of Analysts whilst business partnering various stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
* Oversee the expense control and reporting function
* Lead the expense team ensuring all periodic closes are met in a timely manner
* Develop expense reporting capabilities ensuring process efficiency
* Lead the payroll ledger process ensuring all reconciliations are completed on time
* Continue to develop payroll process efficiency
* Work closely and delivery timely reporting to the Expense & MI team
The successful candidate must have:
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant
* Strong analytical skills and experienced in using Excel
* Experience in a similar role within costs or expenses
* Industry experience is desired within Financial Services but not essential
