Senior Director - Program and Alliance ManagementI am currently working with an exciting start-up Biotech in Copenhagen who are looking for a Senior Director / VP of Program and Alliance Management to join the team in Denmark. The successful candidate will have a track record in Program and Alliance Management guiding programs from a therapeutic idea to proof-of-concept clinical development, preferably in the field of protein therapeutics for immune-related disorders.In addition, the successful candidate will act a Site Lead responsible for smooth and effective operation of the site.Responsibilities:Serve as program manager for cross-functional teams that operate out of Denmark to facilitate discussions that define the target product profile, schedule, and budget for internal and partnered programs.Collaborate with program leaders to create, maintain, and achieve approval for integrated development plans. Work within the Alliance and Program Management to report program challenges, and opportunities.Manage alliances that operate out of Denmark site so that their goals are established, tracked, and met. Ensure their alignment with internal and partner strategy and operational and fiscal rigor in the execution.Ensure that the alliance governance structure is utilized to drive joint strategic and operational effectiveness.Understand the partner's people, roles, operating model, decision-making processes, and stakeholders.Develop a deep understanding of and serve as an internal expert on contracts guiding the alliances.Identify, recruit, and manage local consultants and vendors essential for a successful site operation.Collect information and report on Denmark site operational performance and suggest improvements.RequirementsDegree in advanced degree; PhD, MD or PharmD are preferred, MSc in life sciences or MBA are acceptable.12+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 6+ years in program and alliance management.Strong management and leadership qualities, ability to collaborate across the functional and cultural lines.Extensive experience in protein therapeutic drug development through early clinical development.Strong experience in leading programs for the treatment of inflammation-related disorders is preferred.Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, risk mitigation, problem-solving and conflict resolution.Knowledge of the structure of IND, CTA and IMPD modules and submission requirements is preferred.If this Senior Director - Program and Alliance Management in Copenhagen looks like it could be the next step in your Pharmaceuticals career, please get in touch as soon as possible!
