Senior Drupal / PHP DeveloperWe are currently working with one of our Tier clients who are looking for an experienced Senior Drupal / PHP Developer to start ASAP in the New Year. The role will be home working initally due to Covid but it will retain some home working in the future.A Senior web developer with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join the client's existing well-established team. Those with a good frontend/backend skill balance would fit well into the team.Projects will range from simple static websites to enterprise level platforms. Role: '€¢Be responsible for all phases of the software lifecycle'€¢Take ownership of solutions from inception, through to delivery, maintenance and decommissioning'€¢Contribute to several concurrent projects'€¢Develop high quality code as required by the Web Development Lead'€¢Support operations, performing bug-fixes, enhancements and maintenance as required'€¢Learn and familiarise themselves with existing code and platforms and take ownership'€¢Deliver solutions within agreed timescales'€¢Adhere to development policies'€¢Develop compliant solutions at all times'€¢Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance Essential Skills '€¢Drupal 7, inc. module development.'€¢PHP'€¢MySQL'€¢HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery Desirable Skills '€¢Drupal 8/9'€¢RESTful Web Services'€¢Bootstrap CSS framework'€¢AJAX'€¢Version Control using Git'€¢Basic Linux commands'€¢Knowledge of Azure PaaS is a bonus Successful candidate will have at least 3 years proven hands-on working experience in '€¢Frontend Web Solutions'€¢Backend Web Solutions'€¢eCommerce Solutions'€¢Bootstrap or similar Responsive CSS Framework'€¢Development and consumption of RESTful APIsDue to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
