Microsoft Dynamics/NAV Support Analyst

The Role:

The Microsoft NAV Support Analyst is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, development and support of our expanding Microsoft NAV ERP solution. Currently our EPOS and Finance environments are the largest element of our NAV installation, this will change in the very short term with a pending upgrade to NAV 2018 and a roll-out of further NAV modules across the business in 2019. These additional modules include Operations, Stock Management, Distribution, Warehousing. We will also be implementing a new reporting platform, Jet Enterprise and Power BI.

With further significant development and business use of Microsoft NAV in 2019; this role requires experience of Microsoft NAV and ideally LS Retail (experience of other EPOS solutions will be considered).

This is a great opportunity to join a small IT Team that will grow as the integration of MS NAV

Key Responsibilities:

  • MS NAV Support Analyst for the Microsoft NAV ERP 2015/2018 solution
  • Configuration, system management and user support of our MS NAV & LS Retail EPOS
  • Part of the MS NAV project Team to develop and roll-out new modules
  • Supplier liaison and management relating to MS NAV
  • Assisting the NAV Application Manager with reporting duties as required

Our Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft NAV is essential, especially in areas of supply chain, finance, warehousing and distribution
  • Experience of Jet Enterprise and Power BI would be an advantage
  • Experience of supporting EPOS solutions is essential
  • Experience of working in a retail environment is essential
  • Ability to develop relationships with 3rd party suppliers and manage issues through to resolution and implement new enhancements is essential
  • Ability to work with all other support departments and branches to setup new promotions, EPOS enhancements etc. is essential
  • Ability to prioritise and plan implementation of developments and maintenance of MS NAV is essential
  • The MS NAV Support Analyst needs to be able to help cover other generic support roles in the IT team as needed Dimensions
