The organisation has created a ground-breaking, cloud-based, data-centric SaaS platform that has shaken the foundations of the traditional consumer banking industry to provide a next generation experience for their clients. They're looking for a technically-sharp Business Analyst with a wealth of Banking Payments experience to join their dynamic team.

In this Technical Business Analyst role you'll take a key focus on focus on Banking Payments systems (card payments, BACs, Mobile, CHAPS and an expanding range of international payment standards) and associated APIs, collaborating with software development teams business-wide to complete detailed analysis on journey's, features and epics.

You'll work in a truly Agile environment and will play a critical role in the creation and management of the product backlog, gathering requirements to relay back to the development teams. Within their culture of innovation they have an up-to-the-minute technology stack, including Java, ForgeRock, microservices, Open Banking APIs and Cloud based services.

*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as 100% work from home during the social distancing measures, likely until Spring 2021 (with 3 - 4 days a week from home thereafter)*

Requirements:

You're a strong Business Analyst experience in a highly technical environment

You have experience of producing detailed specifications for complex APIs

You have good working knowledge of banking payment systems (e.g. FPS, BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, SEPA INSTANT, SWIFT); ideally gained within a financial software house / FinTech

You are an Agile advocate with experience with collaborating with software development teams in an Agile environment

You're experienced in requirement elicitation, writing epics and user stories with acceptance criteria using BDD/TDD

You have experience working closely with UX and translating wireframes (and other artefacts) into user stories

You have good working knowledge of JIRA / Confluence

You have good technical understanding of modern development environments including microservices, Cloud native, APIs

You are a first-rate business communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
