Project Lead

UnLtd is the leading provider of support to social entrepreneurs in the UK and offers the largest such network in the world. Our mission is to find social entrepreneurs with bold solutions to today's challenges. Through funding and support, we help them to realise their potential and creating lasting change.

UnLtd's vision is a future where enterprising people are transforming our world for good. To enable this, we are committed to developing an eco-system of support to make it easier for those who need help to find it.

UnLtd values diversity and is committed to inclusion and understanding intersectionality. These are more than just buzz words for us. They are principles guiding how we build our teams, support leaders, empower social entrepreneurs and create an organisation that is the right fit for every person.

To support an inclusive environment where employees feel empowered to share their lived experiences and ideas, we have embedded an equity and inclusion group within UnLtd giving us a wide range of different perspectives in our work to help us see what is most needed in society.  We are particularly keen to hear from those who identify as Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic, LGBTQIA, those with a disability, impairment, learning difference, those with caring responsibilities, from a less advantaged socioeconomic background as well as any other under-represented group in our workforce.

About the role:

We have developed a new and exciting partnership with a major e-commerce organisation. This is a bold and ambitious partnership where we are jointly seeking to tackle the (systemic) exclusion of marginalised communities from economic opportunity through social entrepreneurship. This partnership will focus on us supporting retail based social entrepreneurs overcome the challenges they face to grow their impact, specifically around their digital and e-commerce offer, whilst utilising the power and expertise of our new partner to facilitate, enable and advocate for change.

We have established the core framework and strategy for this partnership and have kicked off an initial design phase that will enable us to understand and put the needs of the social entrepreneurs at the heart of this work. We need an energetic and dedicated project manager who can take this from development and design, through to delivery and execution.

This is a complex piece of work, balancing the needs of, and leveraging the skills and expertise of both UnLtd and our new partner. You will need to work closely with the different teams within both organisations to ensure we are aligned and geared up ready to launch in the new year.

This partnership will be built around how we enable and equip social entrepreneurs with ideas, products, and business models to build and establish their e-commerce offer. You will need to have a good understanding of this market and what this means for both early-stage social entrepreneur development and for more established social ventures wanting to grow.
