Python Software Engineer (PostgreSQL TDD BDD Agile) Market-disrupting algorithmic trading house is seeking a standout Python Software Engineer to join their accomplished Batch Processing team.

This is an exciting time to join as they are about to embark on an ambitious growth initiative involving Greenfield development, where you'll collaborate with business development and sales teams to develop ground-breaking new products and features for financial exchanges and a brant new derivatives trading platform.

This Python Software role would suit an accomplished technologist with a wealth of experience across object-oriented backend development, as you'll take ownership of designing and building highly reliable, testable Python and batch web systems to support global trading operations.

You'll work in a truly Agile, modern development environment that supports TDD, BDD and frequent releases using CI/CD.

Requirements:

You have strong object-oriented Python development experience

You have strong experience with DB's, PostgreSQL and advanced SQL techniques

You have good knowledge of Linux (basic system administration tasks)

You have strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals

You have broad knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures

You're an Agile advocate of TDD, BDD and clean coding practices

You have good working knowledge of CI/CD and experience with frequent releases

Experience in the following is advantageous: C/C++, Puppet, Jenkins, Django
