About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a SAP Service Lead which is a crucial role in the SAP Management Services organisation. You will be responsible for the SAP service and release management to meet the business needs and you will report directly to the Head of SAP Applications.

You will work with many internal teams to deliver the SAP support strategy and convert that into a defined set of SAP support requirements. You will define, create and implement the SAP Service Strategy as well as ensuring the function provides an appropriate response level in resolving SAP production environment issues.

Key responsibilities will also include: * Working with the team to manage, approve, control and transition all SAP incidents, requests and changes into Production * Manage 3rd party suppliers and coordinate regular service review meetings * Ensure all SAP incident and requests are effectively triaged and resolved to agreed SLAs * Ensure the change process is completed with all documentation * Ensure root causes and preventative actions are taken to reduce incident numbers * Work with technical and functional teams to ensure all SAP systems are managed efficiently * Deliver continuous improvements to the service

What do I need to do the role? * We are looking for an experienced and proactive SAP Service Delivery Manager/Lead * Service management and SAP knowledge/experience is essential, including ITIL * Ability to define and implement new processes and ways of working, and manage the change process to embed them * Experience of a global SAP rollout desirable
