My Client a leading pharmaceutical company based in Lausanne, Switzerland requires an IT Project Manager

Job description: Working as a member of the R&D, GBUs, QA, PV IS/ IT Project team, responsible for the scoping, planning and execution of strategic Business application projects. Main projects: ·On Applications:  D2/ Documentum upgrade;  Insight Publisher upgrade, additional project implementations ·Based on business drivers: Geographical expansion, New business processes, Architectural improvements (Local/SAAS/Cloud), Functional enhancements  Key Responsibilities: Responsible for project management, planning, coordination and delivery of specific IT solutions in Life Sciences Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables; Define project tasks and resource requirements; Develop full scale project plans; Assemble and coordinate project staff; Manage project budget; Manage project resource allocation & external providers Track project deliverables using appropriate tools; Manage project risks and issues; Perform project reviews; Provide direction and support to project team; Present project status reports; Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs; Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion; Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team; Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path; Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.    Ongoing cooperation with business stake holders, sponsors and IT, in order to ensure that: Dependencies between projects, Dependencies with operational activities, Resource sharing and constraints, Are considered at all times and appropriately managed. Provide leadership in steering projects toward defined best practices. Interact with and regularly report to executive project sponsors and IT management  Skill requirements:  5 year professional experience in managing complex IT projects. Experience in Document management (eDMS) and / or  Publishing  (eCTD ) activities preferably Documentum/D2 and Insight Publisher Experience in Regulatory affairs and / or  Quality Assurance Experience of working in Pharma industry (GxP) or another regulated industry Experience of working in global organizations with virtual teams Master degree or equivalent with a specialization in IT or information systems PMP Certification is a plus.
