Made Better' is built on a digital organisation, where IT works as a key component of the business, not as a supplier to it.A cloud and managed services model delivered through a set of core partners supports a rapid pace of change as the business grows, without the constraints of legacy systems.The IT team shapes and manages innovation and delivery as architecture and technology solutions continue to evolve.Key Accountabilities:Owner analyst for the Client Extranet and all client documentation.Collect, understand and document the business requirements for change initiatives across the owned, and other business areas.Design and document process and data flowsTranslate requirements into functional and non-functional requirementsWork with Project Managers/work stream leads to join up requirements and delivery plansWork with IT partners to agree solution designsSupport test preparation and executionSupport design and documentation of operational proceduresSupport implementation of change to ensure desired business outcomes are achievedAssist troubleshooting of issuesAct as a mentor to more junior Business AnalystsThe Candidate:Role specific experienceExperience of working in Life and Pensions, with an understanding of the long-term insurance marketExperience of working on large scale change programmes with multiple delivery partnersExperience of working with Agile, with a digital focus, e.g. B2B, B2C portals, extranetsSalesforce or similar CRM systemsUnderstanding of the IFA marketAbility to work directly with developersUnderstanding of JSON and/or XML object models would be helpfulSome SQL and XML knowledge would be helpfulGeneral experience and personal attributesWilling to lead from the front and assist business outside of immediate role responsibilitiesResults / target orientedSelf-aware, open-minded with a high degree of personal and professional integrityAble to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-termExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong teamwork, facilitation and negotiation skillsHighly organised and structured, but able to be flexibleAble to develop sound professional working relationships with the business, IT colleaguesand partners, obtaining their confidence and developing approaches for how to work best with themAble to apply solid judgment in their area of expertisePlease click on the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles of; Data Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Analyst, Information Analyst, Client Data Analyst, SQL Analyst, Business Information Analyst, Data Handler, SQL Server, Systems Analyst may also be considered for this role.
