Data Platform Engineer - near ReadingMy client is a Microsoft Gold Partner, who is looking for a DBA / Data Platform Engineer. We are looking for a hard worker, there is a lot to do, and you will learn loads along the way. The team is very talented and led by some seriously amazing people. The RoleWorking as a DBA in a service-desk environment. You will receive support tickets through from clients around Europe on a whole range of SQL Server/Azure problems on a range of versions (SQL 2005 - 2019 and Azure/AWS), no two days are the same.Solve issues, through good communication, both verbal and written (even spelling) so that you can articulate to clients (technical and non-technical) how you solved the problem and how to prevent it reoccurring.Creation, monitoring and maintenance of production and development databasesAutomation of database support activitiesMaintaining and managing global SQL Server estatesPerformance tuningPlus More...
