SOC Lead - Security Operations Centre Lead/Manager - Contract - 3-5 Months - £££flexibleBirmingham or RemoteCISSM, CISSP, SPLUNK, SIEM, Management, Leadership, Forensics, PEN Test, Symantec DLP, Tenable, Palo Alto, Microsoft E5Working within a growing Information Security Operations Team, we are seeking an experienced Interim SOC Lead/ Manager to help educate and develop a recently established SOC within a multinational organisation. Reporting into Head of Information Security, day to day you will be leading team of 3 SOC Analyst with piers at an IT Risk Lead, Security Architecture, and Governance and Risk compliance level.With an emphasis on managing and coaching the team of SOC Analyst as well as the management of the MSSP (Managed Security Services Provider), you will take ownership for triaging high priority incidents, venerability assessments, DLP, IDP, and PEN testing within a SPLUNK SIEM. This is a relativity new function and as such, you will bring ability to educate other departmental colleagues on Cyber security best practice as well as provide MI Reporting to the SLT.This is an interim position while a permanent person is on-boarded. Day rate contract to perm is also an option with a package of £70,000- £80,000 + Benefits.
