Backend Software Engineer / Golang Developer *Remote Process WfH*. Global cryptocurrency market data provider is seeking an accomplished Backend Software Engineer to join their dynamic team, work on the latest, cutting-edge technologies and progress their career in a lead role.

In this Backend Software Engineer role you'll act as a key technical pivot in supporting the real-time data pipeline, predominantly using Golang to integrate with new data sources.

With a focus on upholding the highest level of data quality, you'll maintain and troubleshoot the data pipeline, detecting issues and making improvements to monitoring systems to automate tests.

Not only will you have the opportunity to take a lead on projects and contribute to technology decisions, you'll be a key point of contact in the team as a mentor to more junior team members.

*Please note: the company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home for the foreseeable, with 1 - 2 days expected in the central London office every few weeks, for team meet-ups, tech talks etc.*

Requirements:

You have a technical background with backend software engineering

You have commercial Golang development experience

You're familiar with NSQ or other messaging queue

You have good working knowledge of Linux OS, bash scripting

Ideally you'll have experience with monitoring systems such as: Icinga, Grafana, Graylog

You're naturally collaborative and enthusiastic, keen to learn about Cryptocurrency

You're degree educated, Computer Science preferred
