Job description

You will be involved in the coordination, integration and continuous service improvement of how my client manages IT assets. Whilst this post is within an IT environment, previous IT knowledge is not essential.

You will be a member of ITF's Asset Management team and will be expected to manage the asset lifecycle from requirements definition, to procurement, operation and disposal for both hardware and software.

Responsibilities

You will:

* Support the definition, establishment and management of the Asset Management policies and processes

* Ensure that the Asset Inventory is accurate and trustworthy

* Manage Assets, ensuring compliance of licence and use policy requirements

* Ensure that all assets are identified, by system, location and user, and all audit requirements supported

* Support the administration of the IT Asset Database and support the Configuration and Release Manager in the maintenance of the CMDB

* Ensure that all financial processes are managed and administered in accordance with policies, ensuring the appropriate identification of risks and opportunities

* Support the Incident and problem management processes

* Manage the Request Fulfilment processes

* Support the development of the IT Budget and Forecast, and account for expenditure on Software Assets.

* Support the development and maintenance of the Service Catalogue
