SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGER

The Asset Management Team play a key role in the coordination, integration and continuous service improvement of the clients IT Assets. This specific role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, hardware and software.

My client has recently undertaken a significant procurement and distribution of IT assets. This is an exciting opportunity to support in the delivery, validation, administration and movement of IT assets. As this role requires the physical reconciliation of assets, frequent attendance is required at the headquarters in Bootle, Merseyside.

Responsibilities

1.To develop, deliver and monitor asset management delivery plans

2.Ensure activities are delivered

3.Manage Assets, ensuring compliance of licence and use policy requirements

4.Develop, deliver and schedule asset management update reports

5.Act as single point of contact with IT partners, ensuring plans are defined, understood and delivered

6.Develop end user communications

7.Support the administration of the IT Asset Database and support the Configuration and Release Manager in the maintenance of the CMDB

8.Support the Incident, problem management and request fulfilment processes.

Experience: essential

1.Previous line manager experience

2.Experience of working in a customer facing environment

3.A structured approach to problem solving

4.An ability to work independently and as part of a team

5.A solid track record of administrating electronic records delivering performance improvements

6.Ability to work in a demanding environment with competing priorities

Experience: desirable

1.Experience of using ServiceNow

2.Experience of working in an IT environment
