We are looking for two Online Business Analyst to join our fast-paced eCommerce department. The role will work with a variety of stakeholders around the business, as well as internal and external development teams.

The role will hold a key part to sculpt business ideas into requirements, as well as taking on solutions to resolve complex problems.

With their technical mindset and experience in an agile and fast paced environment, the role will not only deliver initiatives, it will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our methods and practices.

Role Duties:

Convey business concepts and initiatives from inception through to delivery

Investigate and diagnose business problems, creating solutions, and assisting with delivery

Own solution design, working closely with development and QA teams

Discover, suggest, and design improvements to the product

Ensure quality, follow best practice, and meet legislative standards

Produce high quality documentation, maintain and enrich documentation knowledgebase

Groom and maintain product backlog

Contribute to the development roadmap, enabling future growth and opportunity

Enforce and improve change control methods and adherence

Create and develop relationships within and outside of the team

Challenge current ways of working, discover and raise suggestions and improvements, and support change

Challenge the status quo, aim to keep things simple

Mitigate risks, resolve project issues / blockers, manage dependencies

Skills & Knowledge required:

Experienced with Business analysis and/or solution design

Proven experience in eliciting technical requirements, Non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria

Experienced with data analysis, and data modelling techniques

Skilled with drafting documentation (processes, data models, wireframes, data flows, etc)

Capable of designing bespoke solutions (thinks outside of the box)

Well-practiced with system integration design (APIs, data feeds)

Strong written and verbal communication skills, keeps team members and product owners in the loop and up to date

Well versed with communicating technical information (written and verbally)

Experienced with SCRUM and Kanban workflows

Hands on experience with Enterprise eCommerce Platforms (ideally Salesforce, IBM WebSphere, SAP Hybris, Oracle ATG)

Comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment

Strong problem-solving skills, seeks to understand low level detail

Good time management skills, able to manage own timeline with awareness of business goals and deadlines

Willingness to learn and be challenged

Familiar with data legislation (e.g. GDPR, PCI, etc)

Previous web development experience (ideal)

Understanding of Cloud Services (e.g. AWS, Salesforce, Azure, etc)
