How you will spend your days Overseeing external wireless certification work Assessing the requirements for full or partial re-certification of our products when changes are made Working with various internal teams (and perhaps external test labs) to realise certifications Ensuring that knowledge is shared amongst the Wireless Team on how to certify our products Developing repeatable, documented, test setups for the regulatory testing / pre-compliance testing Assisting in building, extending and maintaining automated regression test setups for our products Assisting in ad-hoc root cause analysis tests for our products Developing a scripted approach to driving our products and lab equipment Maintaining RF Lab calibration and traceability Understanding whether Ofcom test and development licenses are required for our sites and where necessary manage these licenses and their renewal Exploring what is necessary to become compliant in new territories by: Determining which standards apply Analysing the key requirements these standards exert upon our products Performing gap analysis Managing the work required to reach regulatory approval ahead of business deadlines We'd like to talk to you if you have A proven track record of achieving successful regulatory submissions for wireless products An ability to input regulatory requirements into wireless product design flows, from initial requirements through to product release An ability to explain regulatory requirements to a wider team, highlighting key aspects for the products in question Programming experience in a suitable scripting language for simple test automation An ability to specify, build and automate complex RF measurement setups Bonus points if you also have Experience debugging issues in wireless systems A detailed understanding of LTE and OFDM Familiarity with Linux Command Line tools What we offer you Our employee benefits are designed for you, we care about people and we've ensured we have a wealth of benefits that focus on your well-being.
