        Tooling Data Architect Background: We are looking to build a highly energized and high performance team, working in an Agile way to deliver a coherent, agreed and well managed plan / forecast of when these various types of benefits will be realized - and to work with the global business and functions to help drive this and their agenda. Role Purpose: To define a Data Strategy, Governance Model, System Architecture and Roadmap that will set the Delivery Functions of HSBC on a route to greater alignment of delivery, reporting and tool usage. This role will work directly with the Agile Transformation Heads, Head of EPMO, Head of PPM, and COO functions to marshal new strategies and plans that will support and enable the Agile Transformation / Future State whilst propagating a culture of Data Awareness and Responsibility. The role requires close collaboration with Group Functions Architecture. The role involves facing-off to senior stakeholders in the course of eliciting requirements, managing expectations and providing preparatory materials for governance forums Key Activities:Accountable for e2e architecture definition for the agile tooling programme. Ensuring solution designs reflect the needs of the enterpriseDefinition of data architecture & taxonomyWork with the wider programme team to define a strategy and roadmap for global deliveryWork with BAs and business leads to define non-functional requirementsReview and evaluate 3rd party SaaS solutionsProgress solutions through architectural governanceManage 2 data analysts to understand the data landscape and nuanced business requirements and delivery requirements across tech and Transformation  Role Context: The central Agile Transformation Programme is delivering change across all Businesses and Functions . This role will be part of the central team looking to enable Transformation across all areas and in particular the successful deployment of a new Tooling suite of Clarity / Rally and JIRA that will enable teams to operate in a new way Experience & Skills: We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with the following skills and experience:Business, data and technical architecture experience delivering global solutions across numerous business linesExperience creating architectural roadmaps over 1-5 year horizonIdeally SME experience in agile management tooling products such as Clarity, Rally and JIRAFamiliarity with cloud technology providers and solutions, vendor SaaS offerings and their technical evaluationFamiliarity in data analytics and reporting solutions (Qlik, Tableau etc)Experience with data lakes, data governance frameworks and data management policiesPractical and theoretical knowledge of agile frameworksStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong knowledge of group standard tools (Clarity, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA)Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders (internal as well as external)Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, deal with competing prioritiesExcellent decision making & problem solving skills. Ability to work on own initiative and being proactive.Excellent organizational & prioritizing skills
