*Lead on the analysis of spot check related data to identify root causes of defects/failure
*Make clear recommendations for process/service improvement. Define operational pilots, test scenarios etc. Analyse and report on test/pilot outcomes and results, adjusting proposed solutions as appropriate
*Provide BA support to our new Operations team, including process documentation, design of training and coaching material, performance and productivity baselining, demand and capacity analysis and workload analysis and segmentation
*Build and manage productive and effective relationships with other members of the wider Programme
*Identify and manage important stakeholders, tailoring communication to their needs, and work with teams effectively and collaboratively across the organisation.
*Support the development and communication of change and business improvement principles, guidelines and best practice build knowledge and optimise service delivery
*Work with other parts of the business on provision and analysis of data (e.g. businesses, process, outcomes etc.) to inform policy, science, insight, process improvements and communications
Essential Skills and Experience
*Experience of working on service/process improvement projects in a transactional operations environment, such as a call centre or similar.
*A solid track record of delivering service/performance improvements, efficiencies and enhanced user experience.
*Solid experience of the principles of operational excellence and how to ensure new services and ways of working are successfully implemented and embedded.
*Structured approach and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate data and insights into improved processes and workflows
*Extensive experience of data analysis and modelling
*Excellent knowledge of Excel and experience of working with databases
*Highly motivated, committed and passionate
*Flexibility in approach, comfortable working in an environment that is fast moving and subject to ongoing change.
*A team player, with good collaboration and influencing skills, with experience working within a complex organisation and with challenging stakeholders
*Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
*Independent working requiring minimal guidance/supervision
Business Analyst ways of working:
This is a remote based role working as a core member of the Change Team working on Spot Checks. It will involve working within a dedicated virtual programme and operational team to deliver the Covid Spot Check Service implementation and improvements for both internal and external stakeholders.
The role will require balancing the delivery of new process or tools with the requirements to operate with a high level of scrutiny and at a very fast pace to keep up with developments during the Covid 19 pandemic.
The role reports into the Change & Business Improvement Manager who has overall responsibility for the change activity across the Covid Spot Check Service.
