Job Title: Senior Business AnalystPAYE or limited company ( Mandatory ) PAYE Location:Osterley, West London Job Purpose and primary objectives: Business Analyst Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): - Act as the principal liaison between business stakeholders and the technology department. - Assist with development of business requirements and functional specifications - Work closely with business to determine the true nature of the business problem they are trying to solve and work with technical teams to find a technical solution. - Analyse and document process diagrams, functional, non-functional & regulatory requirements, performing system fit/gap analysis, providing input for technical design specifications and contribute inputs for the acceptance testing. - Author and maintain project documents such as Requirements, Functional Specifications, User Guides, Use Cases, etc. - Maintain expert knowledge of the data platform and its various integrations. - Ensure the traceability of requirements to technical solutions. - Attend meetings, workshops, and conventions as necessary for the maintenance of effective services. - Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. - Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work. - As a senior resource, provide mentoring to more junior members of the team as well as consult on other project works. Key Skills/Knowledge: - Previous Senior BA experience in a Data Warehouse or big data environment - Experience working in large, complex technical delivery environment - Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders. - Strong communication skills - articulate and concise, both in writing and verbally - Excellent understanding of data lifecycle. - Analytical and process-based skills, ie process flow diagrams, business & process modelling, data analysis - Experience dealing with Third Party vendors - Ability to gain a deep understanding of system & data architecture and end-to-end flows across multiple systems - Experience required: - Previous Senior BA experience in a Data Warehouse or big data environment - Experience working in large, complex technical delivery environment - Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders. - Strong communication skills - articulate and concise, both in writing and verbally - Excellent understanding of data lifecycle. - Analytical and process-based skills, ie process flow diagrams, business & process modelling, data analysis - Experience dealing with Third Party vendors - Ability to gain a deep understanding of system & data architecture and end-to-end flows across multiple systems Duration of the Assignment: 6 months (extendable based on performance) Start Date (please mention the date not ASAP) :1-Dec-2020
