Join this innovative social business as Data & Performance Lead and drive a major transformation programme with your in-depth data expertise and instinctive people skills.

Raven is a business with a clear social purpose: building homes and changing lives. To ensure that data leads our decision-making and empowers us to fast-track new customer and commercial initiatives, we have embarked on a fundamental change programme addressing every aspect of our systems and processes. Moving to a Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, we aim to be at the forefront of data knowledge and visualisation - including predictive analytics to transform our strategic planning and operational decision-making. This role will be pivotal.

As Data & Performance Lead, leading and developing the Business Intelligence team, you'll deliver and coordinate information management and business intelligence systems and will develop business intelligence insights through dashboards and other interactive tools, moving the organisation towards predictive analysis. You'll be expected to develop an insight-led performance culture, with accountability and reporting structures in place at all management levels, and to make timely reports to the Board, senior leaders and business users. As part of the wider transformation programme, you'll be responsible for the development and delivery of the data migration strategy and the ongoing design and management of the Azure data environment, including master data management and data integration.

On the one hand, this is an outstanding opportunity for a ‘career data person', most likely with qualifications in Data Analysis, Information Governance and/or Data Strategy. Having worked in a management or leadership capacity for a number of years, you'll have a good knowledge of SQL Server and should be an expert in data manipulation and visualisation tools including PowerBi. You'll probably also know Microsoft Synapse and have solid experience of preferably Azure (or AWP).

On the other hand, the role demands great communication and team skills - not only to lead on data strategy, governance and management but also to persuade, nurture and develop the people who are coming with you on this exciting journey. Preferably you'll have previous exposure to Housing. You should also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively and caring about making things better.

We support and trust our staff to work as a team and be their best. We offer good salaries and benefits, a great pension scheme, paid holiday and sickness benefit, plus support for further training to develop your skills and career.
