Our established and reputable clients are looking to hire an experienced 2nd Line support engineer who can provide assistance in the use of Network & Security based systems, technology and products and to assist in the implementation of customer solutions.Working with senior team members you will own and manage 2nd level technical support issues and provide efficient and time-controlled task completion, working with an attention to detail and to specific deadlines.This role will require the ability to provide out of hours support.  Key Responsibilities

'€¢Provide assistance to internal and external personnel in the use Network & Security LAN & WAN solutions throughout the organisation'€¢Assist with performing Data Availability testing and full invocation for customers'€¢Ensure the implementation of best practice and compliance with Network and Security procedures, routines and protocol including security, safety and regulatory.

 Key Skills

'€¢Network & Security Engineer experience'€¢Cisco CCNA certified (must)'€¢Checkpoint CCSA certified (must)'€¢Proven track record of supporting WAN/LAN based network services '€¢Experience of network security & firewalls (CISCO & Checkpoint products) '€¢Extensive knowledge & use of Microsoft applications'€¢Experience of using network management & diagnostic tools'€¢Maintain current market knowledge'€¢Ability to produce technical documents & procedures'€¢Excellent problem determination, analytical and resolution skills
