Optical Engineer (Technical Support)

£35,000 - £40,000 + Technical Progression + Bonus + Pension

Technical Support Engineer position on offer at a leading design software company, offering the chance to become a technical expert and to work with multiple departments on the development and success of the product.

Do you have a degree in Physics or Optics? Have you got experience working in the defence or aerospace sector?

This company is world renowned for their design software that is targeted towards highly skilled technical professionals. Due to their continued success and increased demand of their product, they are looking to add an Optical Engineer to their dedicated Technical Support team.

In this position you will be fully trained on the software and how to provide the best customer support. You will be tasked with providing technical support to customers through multiple channels, answering questions and providing feedback to multiple teams within the company to aid in the development of the product. This is a multifaceted role that will increase in responsibility as you develop your skills.

The ideal candidate will have a Masters' degree in Physics, experience of working with optical design and have a background within the defence or aerospace sector, who is looking for the opportunity to become a technical expert within the optical design field.
