About The Role We're looking for an Datacenter and Operations Manager. The role will be to lead the strategic direction of, and then oversee the day to day timely provision of an effective operations service including batch process, systems performance monitoring and incident management for IT.
Your role will be to ensure operational area vision is aligned with the direction of IT Service Operations overall and to take accountability for the on-going monitoring of batch processing providing assurances that schedules are maintained with agreed operational standards and requirements.
You'll act as a point of escalation for potential and real incidents and issues in batch processing, making sure all relevant processes and procedures and followed to instigate incident management and disaster recovery procedures.
You'll also be required to take day to day ownership for the access to of CBS Data Centres resolving any incidents to prevent disruption to operating services. About You Professional qualifications or essential experience required:
- ITIL Intermediate awareness and/ or qualification
