Senior SAP Functional Consultant with Production Planning (PP) and/or Quality Management (QM) experience is required for a growing SAP Logistics Specialist Practice.

SALARY: Excellent Basic Salary + Benefits

LOCATION: Remote / Home Based, with a preference for candidates to be based around North West England. There will also be some travel to customer sites as per role demands, although likely no more than 10%

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior SAP Functional Consultant with Production Planning (PP) and/or Quality Management (QM) experience.

This role is perfect for somebody who would enjoy working for a people-centric, growing and values-based SAP logistics specialist practice based in the UK with SAP Gold Partner status and Investors In People Gold Award.

Working as the Senior SAP Functional Consultant you will be a subject matter expert for SAP Logistics modules PP and/or QM and advise on best practice business processes in line with the system capabilities and complex system changes.

As the Senior SAP Functional Consultant, you will optimise client production and manufacturing functions by delivering complex end-end implementations, upgrades and enhancements and offer support for SAP Logistics Solutions and the Company's products.

With comprehensive knowledge of SAP PP, QM and business processes, the position will offer colleague support, coaching, development and guidance to colleagues and at times, lead project teams.

DUTIES

As the Senior SAP Functional Consultant your duties and responsibilities include:

Act as a key customer representative and subject matter expert for SAP PP, QM and business processes, attending and leading meetings when required

Provide guidance to colleagues on system design, build and complex configuration

Guide and assist colleagues with SAP PP, QM and business process knowledge and understanding and provide advice across testing, documentation, end-user training and manuals and customer go-lives

Provide a level of strategic advice to customers for system design

Design, build and implement complex SAP Logistic customer solutions

Develop a strong understanding of client operations and make well-founded suggestions for improvement through the use of SAP technology and other Supply Chain products

Give comprehensive advice and explain standard SAP configuration within PP and QM SAP modules and the impact of changes upon solutions and/or business process

Advise and explain the available system development changes and any impacts the changes may have

Complete solution testing and issue resolution, complex configuration and act as a key representative for customers during go-live support

Create and lead the delivery of end-user training, including the creation of documentation and user manuals

Lead and facilitate customer workshops and requirement gathering sessions

Lead the production and completion of blueprint documentation

Independently create well-founded, complex and accurate functional specifications

Actively contribute to pre-sales activities including project estimation and defining scope of work, product demonstrations, RFP responses, quotations, SoW, proof of concepts and customer assessments

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

A comprehensive functional understanding of:

SAP Production Planning (PP)

AND/OR

SAP Quality Management (QM)

Experienced with standard and able to advise on complex configuration in:

SAP Production Planning (PP)

AND/OR

SAP Quality Management (QM)

Has been involved with and led at least one SAP PP or QM end-end project life cycle

Desirable:

S/4 Hana experience
